Read this law from the Twelve Tables. 23. A person who had been found guilty of giving false witness shall be hurled down from the Tarpeian Rock. It is clear from this law that the punishment for someone not telling the truth in court was mild. harsh. unclear. trivial.

    Um is it harsh? ... the question is unclear but i think its saying the person is thrown off of something which would be harsh.
