What caused the Triple Entente to form?

-England wanted to continue colonial expansion into Eastern Europe.

-The United States feared the powerful union between France and England.

-Germany, Italy and Austria-Hungary created the Triple Entente to defend each other.

    France would watch over the Mediterranean Sea.

    While England would watch over the Channel and north of France.
