What are the main forms of prison programs and what purposes do they serve?

Prison programs are conducted to reform the prisoners. They are made to realise their mistake and lead a normal life. Some prison programs are victim offender mediation, educational and spiritual programs, work programs and traditional programs. By participating in such programs their minds are diverted from criminal motives.
