How did Franklin Roosevelt's attitude contrast with herbert Hoover's?

    They contrasted mostly on the opinion in what way should the great depression be solved. Hoover didn't do much about it and believed that it would all be solved on its own without much government interventionism. FDR knew that this was bad and used the federal government in order to create new projects and solve the depression.
