The ground temperature at Brigham airport is 12°C. the temperature decreases by 6.8 °C for every increase of 1 kilometer above the ground. What is the temperature outside a plane flying at altitude of 5 kilometers above Brigham Airport?

    To find the answer you need to multiply 6.8 °C by 5 that should be 34 °C. To find the temperature at 5 kilometers above Brigham airport you must take 12 °C subtracted by 34 °C which will be - 22 °C.
