How do interest groups and the media influence government?

The government evolves based on what the people want and don't want. Since, unfortunately, many people are very easy to manipulate, they will follow the media and other interest groups easily, and therefore vote according to what the media and groups tell them to. So, through the people, the media and interest groups control what happens in the government.
