    The best similarity between W. E. B Du Bois and Booker T. Washington was that they both supported full racial equality.

    Both Du Bois and Washington were scholars and they were committed to civil rights in America. Their difference was in the background and the method of having a greater impact in future.

    Dubois became foremost black intellectual and published numerous influential works on black American conditions. Dubois joined American communist party in the year 1961 and later he repatriated to Ghana where he became a naturalized citizen.

    Washington died in the year 1915 in Tuskegee, Alabama while Du Bois he died in 1963 in Ghana at the age of ninety-five years.
