The answer is Waregem, Belgium. Flanders Field is an American Cemetery wherein many American soldiers died during the World War I. The poem, In Flanders Field, was written to commemorate the death of the American soldiers. The field was said to grow red poppies after the war. They said that these poppies carry the red color because of the blood of the dead soldiers.
