What was the relationship between changes in scientific thought and in philosophy in seventeenth and eighteenth century europe?

    At that time, everyone started stressing out the importance of education. Things like mysticism and spirituality fell out of grace and things like education and science started stepping up. Philosophy was mostly political and social, which transferred to science where people started looking at facts more than looking at things like alchemy or astrology.
