    Explanation:

    The invention of lightbulb and mainly the use of electrical power was essential to boost the growth of Ametican cities in the late 1800. For one side, lightbulb was used to put lights on the street improving security and also to fabricate luminous banners for theathers, cinemas, restaurants and more. Cities like New York City and Las Vegas would not be the same without the invention of lightbulb. On the other hand, electricity started very slow at the industry, but eventually Direct Current (DC) electricity started to be used in different parts of the United States promoted by Thomas Edinson which boosted the use of elctrical energy by local and industrial sectors. The Electricity inclsuion reached its peak with the promotion of Alternating Current (AC) promoted by Nicola Tesla and Westinghouse Electric.
