    Infinitely many solutions

    Explanation:

    1) subtract "1" from both sides to get y by itself

    Y=-2x-1

    2) 4y+8x=-4 share a gcf of "4" so you can divide the whole equation by 4

    y+2y=-1

    Now substitute "-2x-1" as y

    (-2x-1) + 2x=-1

    -2x and 2x cancel each other and so does - 1 and - 1

    Hence, this system has infinitely many solutions
