    Answer/Explanation

The Progressive era was a period of charged political, social, economic and educational reform in the United States which spanned between 1890 - 1930. The key object of this era was to address the problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, political corruption, and massive immigration. This period witnesses widespread activism and reform. For instance, it targeted corrupt politicians and corrupt policies, and ensured that corrupt political representatives were removed from office; it also sought to bring an end to monopoly and promote health trade competition by setting up antitrust laws and policies; the period also saw the promotion of women's right to vote and be voted for otherwise known as the era of liberal feminism / women suffrage; the educational, medical and finance industry was also not left out in this unyoked progression/disruption.

List of Progressive Ideas/Reforms during this era include:

    1. Promotion of women's right to vote and be voted for.
