There were crowded conditions in the factories and the factories were very dirty and spread diseases. Also, the machinery was injuring workers and there were no regulations.

    Child labor was also a huge issue during the Industrial Revolution. The children worked long hours with low wages. When the government got involved the factories became safer, cleaner, and child labor was stopped.
