    The two wars were characterized by freedom from colonial masters in a large amount of Countries in Africa and some in Europe.

    Soviet Union and the United States became allies to defeat Hitler's Nazi Government in Germany and were successful. This gave rise to the birth of two new world powers.

    Nationalism was on the rise after the wars as countries which had other colonies they controlled gave them freedom to be independent and the nations focused on solely their country and states under it.

    Oppression was on the decline as slavery was abolished after the war.
