    Explanation:

    The council of 500 was the government of the Athens which was working for full time and there were people elected from all the tribes in this council giving lower class a chance to enjoy power.

    The people who were elected, were not elected only by the male citizens of the country and the women were not allowed to vote in the process of election. It served for a period of one year only and it prepared the matter of discussion of the assembly.
