Answer: The Continental Army had a number of advantages over the British Army.

Around 230,000 soldiers served in the Continental Army.

The Continental Army won the military struggle for American Independence. They won three battles of nine. Some of the victories were more strategic.

They never had more than 48,000 soldiers at one time. Because of the strategy.
