Bantu Languages are spoken in many countries in Africa, It is spoken in the countries lying from southern Cameroon to Kenya and to Southernmost tip of Africa.

More than five million people speak twelve Bantu languages. It is spoken in over 27 countries. Swahili is the most spoken Bantu language with over 100 million speakers. It is believed to have originated from languages such as Arabic due to interactions between Arabs from the middle East an East Africans.

Bantu languages belong to Bantoid subgroup of Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family and there are more than 500 languages belong to this family.
