In regards to Indian Removal Andrew Jackson:

A. Opposed the removal of the Natives from their land for this was a violation of the US

Constitution

B. Supported the removal of Natives from their lands as military necessity since so many attacks on white settlements had been orchestrated by Natives in the area

C. Supported the removal of natives from their lands for the acquisition of lands for

white settlement and to protect Native Americans from future violence if they did not remove

D. Supported the removal of natives from their lands with the understanding that the

Indians had to agree to remove and could not be forced to remove by the federal government
