    Not Really but they chose to be brave for their family cause they wanted to protect their family even tho they had to do it for the colony it self but it was worth being brave for you just gotta know who are fighting for.

    Some may not think so, but it takes a lot of courage to leave your homeland, spend long months on a ship, in dire conditions, to land in a totally unfamiliar land and without any of the "comforts" you were having, like a roof above your head, for example. The early settlers went through this to free themselves and their families from religious persecution in England, but had to face the unknown and with little means. It takes a lot of courage.
