Louis XIV believed in the divine right of kings. How do you think he would have reacted to the separation of church and state that characterizes the government of the United States?

    he would have been shocked and disgusted.

    Majority of his power was based in his belief in the divine right of Kings because people truly feared God. He wouldn't have had nearly as much control over the people which would have scared him.
