The Israelite were promised health as a reward for obedience in the Jewish Torah which is also known as The Book of Deuteronomy (the fifth book of Jewish Torah actually). Along with promising the Israelite with rewards this book also contains messages about the speeches which were delivered by Moses to the Israelite's on the plains of Mosab. The book also contains songs and blessings on Moses.
