    Industrial revolution the factory system:

    The factory system was a new way of making products that began during the Industrial Revolution. American factories turned to the production of capital goods and they started to specialize in custom made products.

    The system of producing goods made on a mass scale by machines in a factory replaced goods made by individual craftsmen.

    Factory system is the method of manufacturing using machinery and division of labour. It was initially adopted in Britain at the start of Industrial Revolution in late 18th century and later it spread across the world.
