    C. There was no decline in religion and loss of feelings amongst Muslims. In fact, there was a small population of Muslims when the Ottoman Empire was the one of the first to establish Christianity. The Ottoman Empire is known for being religious, so that's why C is the correct answer for being the odd ball out of the bunch.

    The others can be proven wrong. There was a drastic decline in population and territories, because the Ottoman Empire kept losing land/countries by losing battles. There was also a competition of trade which contributed to a loss in economic prosperity. There was also the pressure of capitalistic imperialism by trying to match what was going on in the Industrial Revolution, and failing to succeed in new efforts with the revolution.
