    1. Nowhere in the Bible does it acknowledge December 25th as Jesus' birthday, its actually acknowledged that Jesus was most likely born sometime in Spring.

    2. Most people believe that people decided to celebrate Jesus' birth in December because of the various Roman Holidays that took place during the winter. And the Romans weren't exactly kind to the Christians/Jews of that time.

    3. It's kind of a big thing to overeat and drink like crazy during the holidays. It's definitely a holiday based around self-indulgence.
