    Explanation: he would create a sort of hit list for people to go out and execute. sometimes he would put you on the list for no other reason than you didn't like him. his lists became extremely popular. he was stabbed and murdered in his bathtub, making him, at the time, a hero. famous artists at the time would paint him as their own sort of Jesus. that's how influential he was during the revolution.
