    In 202 B. C. the Han dynasty established one of the most successful and peaceful periods in the Chinese history. It allowed the Chinese people to prosper in peace since life was more harmonious than during the Warring States period (403-221 B. C. E.).

    The Silk Road was established during the Han Dynasty. This trade route from China to Europe was a great source of wealth and luxury items. Buddhism first came to China during this time.

    Four Hundred years of Han dynasty was considered to be an excellent historical era of Ancient China as there were many accomplishments by the King Han Gaozu.

    The major accomplishment was that he introduced the civil service system, wherein all educated men were selected and he sought their advice to rule over the Han Empire.

    Introduction of Paper was considered to be of much value as all the events were recorded. The Silk Route was established during his reign and major products exported were Iron, salt and silk.
