Chai Ling is a Chinese psychologist who battled in contradiction to the dogma of single child in china. She was forced into two abortions which she emotionally expresses in her book 'a heart for Freedom'.

She intended to have a dialog with the Government officials regarding Improvements in Government policies. Initially students at Tiananmen Square staged a sit - in protest. But it was not acknowledged and they gradually slipped in to hunger strikes.

To their dismay, Chinese Government Troops rolled in and massacred the students brutally. She was the leader of Democratic activity at Tiananmen. She fortunately escaped the slaying.

If I were Chai Ling's classmate, I would support her opinions about the protests. The people of China started losing their trust in the Chinese Communist Party toward the end of the twentieth century. They wanted democratic reforms. Everyone has the right to democracy. Everyone wants to live in a world where there are human rights, freedom, and self-respect. I would support Chai Ling in fighting for these rights. If the Communist Party agreed to the protesters' demands, the people of China could enjoy the freedom that citizens of other democratic countries enjoy.
