The Holocaust is the consummation of the criminal Nazi vision of the Final Solution (Die Endlösung), the erradication of the Jewish race from the face of Europe. Jews were persecuted, abused, mistreated and arrested. All their properties were confiscated. They were placed in neighborhoods called ghettos, which was a form of segregation. They were supposed to live apart from the rest of society and on their own, invigilated by the Nazi army or police. Finally, they were sent to concentration camps to forced labor and for physical elimination.
