    The damage and the loss of life that was mainly caused by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor were 20 American ships were destroyed and there was destruction of airplane more than 300.

    Explanation:

    Not only 20 American ships and more than 300 airplanes were destroyed but also there was huge loss of soldiers 2304 soldiers as well as many civilians died in this attack and approximately 1000 people were wounded.

    There were mainly three reasons for which the Japanese attacked the Pearl Harbor that is the Japanese needed natural resources such as minerals, steels as well as oils so that the Japanese can be expand in Asia. Secondly the Congress made various restriction on business purposes and thirdly the Japanese wanted to expand in Pacific.
