    the reformers mainly promoted the humanism, in which they considered "man" to be a higher moral being rather than the religious view that stated "man is a sinful being"

    Moreover, the freedom of thought and opinion was another matter that these thinkers promoted. Prior to this, the religion and the church barred people from having their own opinions and branded thoughts and views against the religion as blasphemy.

    The reformers promoted free thinking and express of opinions.
