    Battle of Bunker Hill took place on 17th June 1775 between the United Colonies and British forces. The leaders of the United Colonies got the information that British forces are going to occupy hills which surrounded the Boston city in order to gain control over the Boston Harbour.

    They constructed fortification on the Breed's Hill to stop the British troops. This battle resulted in the victory of British but at very high costs as they lost their many soldiers and suffered much causality. This battle gave the confidence to Colonial force to stand against the British.
