East and West Pakistan were separated by a border of more than 2000 kilometers and as such were two completely different places culturally.

    Explanation:

Geographically, the area that is West Pakistan and the area that is east Pakistan were separated from east to west by all of India.

this geographical isolation of the two parts meant that the language, ethnicity of the two places were completely different and the only binding factor in play was their religion and nothing else.

This meant that the two places were stranded and the control that the west exerted over the east made it difficult to sustain such a model for the nation of Pakistan.,
