Why was the world considered by many to be more stable during the Cold War than it is now? What has been one of the emerging problems in the post-Cold War era?

    Answer: it is considered so because of three superpowers USA, Russia and China now face off along multiple fronts with weapons that could end the world.

    Control for international capital, terrorism, regional and transnational conflict are emerging problems of post cold war era.

    Explanation: the United States, Russia and China have been engaging in provocative acts, intimidating rivals and they all possess weapons of mass destruction. For example, now Russia is tearing existing accords while China is occupying islands in the south China sea and the United States once bombed some part of Iran.
