    During the Civil war Abraham Lincoln used the railroads to his advantage.

    Explanation:

    The American Civil War was found between the states of the North and the states of the South called confederate states. The railroads proved as a major advantage to the Northern states. The majority of railroad networks were under the control of the North. 24000 miles of railroad was under the control of the North while south had only 9000 miles under their control in the beginning of the Civil War. Transport of troops and supplies was easy using the railroads.
