    Industrial capitalism enabled the exploitation of immigrants and saw them to be the source of cheap labor.

    Explanation:

    Many capitalistic economies like Europe saw the migrants to be the form of rich labor source and engaged them in the construction of transcontinental railroads and mining industries. Slave labor was also prevalent which many immigrants were absorbed to be the indentured labor.

    During the mid nineteenth century many Chinese also immigrated to Us in search of better livelihood. Capitalistic economies relied mostly on violence, oppression and subjugation of laborers. Many Europeans in millions migrated to US and other countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Argentina and Brazil.
