The bombing of Hiroshima caused thousands of deaths. The majority of the people that died were civilians, not soldiers. Based off of what you have learned about the atomic bomb and what you read in Harry S. Truman's speech, do you think that President Truman and the United States government regretted their decision to bomb Hiroshima?
