Medicare, Job Corps and Head Start were part of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society.

    Explanation:

The Great Society was a comprehensive welfare policy reform program initiated by President Lyndon B. Johnson, which consisted of a number of measures and legislative changes. The two main objectives of the program were to reduce poverty and racial discrimination. Special measures were put into education, health care, urban problems and public transport.

Several programs were included within this reform plan, among which were Medicare, Job Corps and Head Start.

Medicare was incorporated into the United States' social security system on July 30, 1965, through additions to the Social Security Act as part of the Great Society, and is the second federal state insurance scheme alongside pension insurance. For the first time, it granted a health care system for the elderly or disabled. Medicare can be used by anyone over the age of 65 and anyone of any age with a recognized disability or with acute kidney failure that requires permanent dialysis or kidney transplantation.

In turn, the Job Corps was a program in charge of providing vocational education to young people, with the aim of allowing them a better insertion in the labor field.

Finally, Head Start was started in 1965 as a compensatory education program which should improve the educational opportunities for children from socially disadvantaged families and increase their resilience.
