    1. Abraham Lincoln held the views of abolishing slavery, which he often expressed in public and private gatherings. He wanted the state to free the slaves by buying them from their owners. George Washington, on the other hand, owned slaves and used them for his work.

    2. Abraham Lincoln was killed. On April 14, 1865, he was shot in the head while watching a play in Ford's Theatre. His assailant was John Wilkes Booth, a well-known stage actor of that time. George Washington, however, died of a severe throat infection in 1799. He was buried in his family vault at Mount Vernon.

    For President George Washington:

    1. George Washington was from a rich family background. He had many slaves. In contrast, Abraham Lincoln had humble beginnings. He had done labor work for many years in order to survive.
