    The Vikings are known to be from the Scandinavian countries such as Denmark, Iceland etc. They were mainly known as sea pirates and were involved in hijacking and stealing of ships.

    They left piracy after a while and went into a more decent occupation. They were involved in trading in Europe and Central Asia. They bought goods such as jewellery, glass and pottery in exchange for goods such as wool, wood, iron, fish and walrus ivory.
