In Confederate territory the town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is located.

    Explanation:

Gettysburg is located at the Adams County in the U. S. state of Pennsylvania which is a non-local borough as well as a county seat. It was named as Gettys-Town by James Gettys as he laid out it in the 1780s. Then, it was renamed as Gettysburg from Gettys-Town in 1800 when it was declared as a county seat which was incorporated in 1806. Then, in 1826 Lutheran theological Seminary was found and in 1832 Pennsylvania College was found. Both these colleges were burnt in the 'Battle of Gettysburg' during the 'American Civil War'.
