Both Christianity and Islam are monotheistic religions. Christianity got spread through conversion and it is a religion which is not confined to only race or group where as Islam got spread through annexation and expansion of Arab empire.

    Explanation:

Both Islam and Christianity got spread through a missionary which had dedicated only fro the cause foo spreading the greatness of these religions. Through military conquests Muslims were able to convert many people in the kingdom of Byzantine, Egypt and Persia into Muslims.

Sufis and Muslim mystics were powerful missionaries born for the cause of spreading Islam and Christianity got spread through monasticism which means living a life like a monk. Christian Missionaries who held holy gospel to be superior achieved in gaining converts by spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ. Social distinctions are not much in Islam as Islam advocates universal brotherhood and equality. At the same time gender bias can be seen in the Islamic community wherein women and men are not considered to be equal and the rights to hold property differs based on the gender in society.
