    The political movements in Ghana during and after the world war II were both successful and recorded some level of failure during the Kwame Nkrumah's era of ruling the country.

    Moreover, the success recorded during this period was because they were able to achieve the fight to gain an independent state in 1951 from the colonial masters BUT damaging after all, the initial plan to run a liberal government after the successful take over was abolished by Nkrumah who later change to a one-party state and give power to himself alone.
