Compare and contrast the goals of the IMF with the World Bank. What is something

    Goals of International Monetary Fund and World bank:

    Both the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World bank have the same goal of raising the living standard of their member countries.

    Raising the living standard means reducing the poverty by assisting middle income and low income countries.

    Similarities:

    Both IMF and World bank have a total of 189 member countries which they serve and they also have the same goals of increasing the living standard.

    Differences:

    International monetary fund is a monetary institution where world bank is a development institution.
