There were some groups who did not want the United States to enter the world war 1. Some of these groups were the pacific group, members of the old right and the socialist who did not want the United States to enter. All the three groups were in the favor of peace to prevail in the world and therefore wanted the world war to stop and not let the United States enter in the world war 1. All the three groups said that the war will only result in the killing of people for the interests of the countries and would lead to a lot of loss.
