How did the zealots react to Roman rule? What was the reaction

    The Zealots were nationalists and hated the Roman conquerors. They believed Palestine was God's gift to the Jewish people - so they wanted the Romans out of the country at all costs. The Zealots refused to co-operate with the Romans. They used violence to try and force the Romans out of Palestine.
