    As it is already written in history, most of the slaves were from Africa. Even if morally, slavery was forbidden, no one stuck with that rule. Slaves didn't have any rights, they were abused and used for very hard work.

    Explanation:

    If a slave became a servant, he would stay servant usually for the rest of his life. They were working n the field whole day, since daylight to the dark. Slave was treated like an object, a property that could be bought and sold whenever the owner wanted it.

    If the slave had a family, the family wasn't spared of the owners' decisions. They interrupted the privacy of the family, took whatever they wanted, made the family suffer, bringing them pain and frustrations.
