What impact might a disease that killed camels have had on the economy of Ghana? The economy would have increased due to a reduction in animals that ate major cash crops. The economy would have shifted the population to the south, where horses were plentiful. The economy would have decreased because caravans carried salt across the desert The economy would have remained unchanged because camels were not essential to trade.

    camels were very important in the economy of Ghana. If one was diseased, they all probably would have got the disease.
