    United States of America

    Explanation:

American revolution was the offensive through which the American colonies gained independence from Britain. It started in 1760's when the relations between Great Britain and colonies deteriorated when the British king George Third began to tax the colonies to get money for funding the war against French. The colonies were against this taxation as they had no say in government who levied taxes on them. In the beginning the colonies protested peacefully but when the British suppressed Massachusetts rebellion all the colonies united and American revolution broke out. The colonies won the war and gained independence. The independent nation was named United states of America.
