    There weer number reasons fro the youth protests in the american society during 1960s.

    Explanation:

    Black people and their rights were denied. Women were treated not to be the citizens of the country at that time. The young generation were influenced by the modernity which led to fall into heavy drinking and consumption of alcohol was of much higher level during 1950s.

    The assassination of John F Kennedy added fuel to the anger of the youth in america. the young people started to distance themselves from the older grown ups which was viewed to be the culturally unacceptable behavior. Many young Americans were influenced by the speech of Dr. king which made them to join in the civil rights movement.
