To what extent did America embrace, or accept, the ideal of freedom from 1850-1896? (Discuss aspects of a political, economic, and/or social development of the era.) ?

    The independence of the U. S. thought of the values of a nation that could be civilization, with freedom and democracy. Liberalist ideas arose after the United States defeated England in the war of secession. It was victorious, it endured two great wars, and when EUA x URSS begining the Cold War, and saw that capitalist world fight in front of one of the greatest empires, in an armed race, the Soviet empire.
